Why we exist
Good building work depends on the contractor's skill. Good projects depend on everything around it.
Most contractors are genuinely good at the thing they trained to do. Very few are set up to also be a marketing department, a customer service desk and an accounts team, while being on site by seven.
Something has to give, and it is almost always the communication. The homeowner experiences the consequences: unreturned calls, quotations that never arrive, no idea when anyone is turning up.
Mortaro Group exists in that gap. We take the commercial and administrative layer off both sides, so the contractor can concentrate on the work and the customer has somebody whose actual job is answering them.
What we are
What a coordination company actually is
We are a project coordination company. We appoint contractors from our own network, arrange the site visit, prepare the written quotation, handle the communication, organise the start date and administer the payments.
The construction work is carried out by an independent main contractor who is named in your quotation, holds the insurance and provides the workmanship warranty. Your contract for the work is with them.
It is an unusual structure and it takes a paragraph to explain, which is why most of this website is spent explaining it rather than making claims.
Mortaro Group is a trading name of Johnson & Marshall Limited, company number 125247, a limited company registered in Gibraltar. Construction work is carried out by independent UK main contractors who hold the relevant insurance and provide the workmanship warranty.
